The Power of Article Marketing

If you’ve been struggling trying to figure out how to drive free
targeted traffic to your website, then I have some good news for
you. Today’s marketing strategy lesson is about the power of
Article Marketing. If you are not familiar with this concept you
will be very pleased with the results it can bring to your business.
If you are familiar with it, but have not implemented it into your
plan of attack, I suggest you give it another look.
I worked for an advertising agency as an Account Executive for
twelve years, and during that time I never truly understood the
power of article marketing. We occasionally purchased advertorials
(basically an ad made to look like an article in a magazine) for our
clients, but that was about it. I never really paid much attention
to the astonishing facts regarding the effectiveness of articles
compared to regular display advertising. A few days ago, I read
that these advertorial ads have been shown to be as much as 500%
more effective than a regular display advertisement!
Since I build my network marketing business without cold calling
leads, chasing disinterested prospects around or dragging my friends
and family to hotel meetings, I was thrilled when I first learned
about article marketing. When people refer to this type of marketing,
they are usually just referring to writing articles and submitting
them to article directories on the internet, but I encourage you to
implement advertorial ads in any magazine advertising that you do as
well. I’ll provide a couple of article directories for you to check
out later in this message. I am a huge proponent of “Attraction
Marketing”, so I like to do a lot of things that will help me
attract the right types of people to my business. Writing articles
is an incredible way to do just that. So, how can you implement
this strategy?
Here are some basic ideas on how you can use articles to help you
build your business:
*Write key word focused niche articles and submit them to article
directories. Examples include: www.ezinearticles.com and
www.articlesnatch.com (Do a google search on article directories for
more)
*Include a resource box at the end of your article with your name
and link back to your website
*Submit your articles by hand instead of using an automated
submission service to avoid being penalized by the search engines
for having duplicate content. When you write an article, submit it
to about 7-10 directories.
*Submitting articles to directories can help your link popularity
with search engines which can help your site to rank higher.
*By posting articles to directories, you are allowing other people
to use your articles as content on their website, and when they do
they are required to inlude your resource box which includes your
website link. Are you starting to see how powerful this could be
for your business?
*Results don’t come overnight, but if you work this strategy
diligently in the beginning, it will pay dividends for a long time.
*Don’t worry about being perfect when you write your articles, start
with a topic that you are familiar with and write like you were
explaining the subject to your best friend. There are article
writing services available too.
*Post your articles to a blog. If you are not blogging, start using
this powerful strategy along with your article writing.(My fiancee
is my business partner, and we have used this strategy to sponsor
six people into our business in the past four weeks…and they all
contacted us ready to join our business)
