There is something building a buzz around the web this week. It’s the launch of Katie Freiling’s new content syndication community called The Unified Tribe. Doors open today at 9 AM PST, and Katie is offering some sweet bonuses for those who move quickly on her special launch offer. Based on the incredible content that she has been putting out during the pre-launch of The Unified Tribe, it looks like this community will be a great way to help you promote your content and build your business to new levels of success.

Quite simply, content syndication is a way for you to increase the reach of your valuable written or video content. Imagine that you write a blog post and decide that you want to promote your new piece of content to all of your social media connections around the web on sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Stumble Upon, and Digg.

Now let’s suppose that you have a fairly good sized sphere of influence on these sites and you’re total number of connections equals 10,000 people on all of the sites combined. When you send out messages to promote your content, you have a potential audience of 10,000 people. Not bad, but consider the possibility of forming a “tribe” of 5 like-minded people who all agree to syndicate the promotion of each other’s content.

If each member in the tribe has 10,000 social media connections, every time the group promotes your content it would have a potential audience of 50,000 instead of just 10,000.

If you want to start generating some targeted traffic to your website, one thing you can do is find high traffic blogs and video channels on sites like YouTube and post comments on them.  The key here though is that you don’t want to spam a person’s site with your comments trying to promote your business opportunity. Find people who are posting content related to your business, interests or marketing style. 

Make sure you read or view their content, then offer a valuable comment and mention that you have been teaching the same strategies for a long time too, etc.  Don’t post your website and contact information on the post, just let the people who read your comment click on your profile link (Blogger,WordPress, YouTube, etc.) where they can find your information.  If people are intrigued by your posts they will click on your profile to find out more about you and will likely respect the fact that you’re not just spamming websites with your business opportunity.
