One of the potential drawbacks to building your business using the internet is the lack of personal interaction that your prospects are able to have with you…compared to what they get when considering joining a team that uses local meetings to introduce people to their opportunity.
Building your MLM business using the internet and phone allows you to reach people all over the country and the world, but can limit the connection that you are able to build with your prospects. One way you can massively increase the level of connection you are able to build with a prospect after talking on the phone with them is to take a couple of minutes to shoot a quick personalized video message using your webcam.
You can take this time to build on your relationship and also show them your product, so they have a vivid image of what it is that you were describing to them about your opportunity. Add a compelling message about whatever your greatest selling point is to help them put money in THEIR pocket and invite them to get started with you.
Some things to consider when you are putting this video together:
1. Reinforce any personal connections you may have established during your conversation. (Shared interests, sports, etc.)
2. Use the best camera that you can afford to use. Using a terrible camera that produces poor video quality will make you look like an amateur in your prospect’s eyes.
3. Make sure you set up your webcam so that you have an appealing background when you create your video. You may be used to looking at the huge mess behind you and think it’s no big deal, but first impressions are huge, so do what you can to make the best one possible.
