A few weeks ago Natasha and I hosted a local marketing workshop with Ann Sieg in Salt Lake City, UT. We had a great time at the event and the masterminding afterwards. A little over a year ago I set up a Twitter account and started trying to find like-minded people to connect with by following people in my niche.
Soon after I started using Twitter and seeing all of the people with 10k or more followers, I started looking into ways to build a large following, and the free website I share in the video below helped me out a lot.

Natasha and I had a great time at Mike Klingler’s Marketing Funnel Mastery event at The Venetian in Las Vegas March 11th-13th. It was great to see all of our MFM friends that we’ve met at the previous events, and we made some great new connections as well.

Have you ever had the hot water run out when you were in the middle of taking a shower and been shocked by the cold water hitting you? Have you ever taken a cold shower on purpose?
A planned ice cold shower. That’s how my day started.
Actually, before I took my cold shower, I heard a series of screams coming from our bedroom as I started to prepare breakfast. Normally, I would have laughed at my wife’s loud reaction to the frigid water in the shower, but I knew it was my turn next.
Seems like a perfectly logical way to start a cold snowy day, right?
Well, I wouldn’t say it’s exactly what I have in mind when it comes to enjoying life, but one of my new year’s resolutions is to lose weight, so I’m following the plan for rapid weight loss detailed by Timothy Ferriss in his new book, The 4-Hour Body. I have to admit once I got out I felt pretty refreshed and definitely awake.
If you aren’t familiar with Tim and The 4-Hour Body as well as his previous bestselling book, The 4-Hour Work Week, you might want to check out his blogs at FourHourWorkWeek.com and FourHourBody.com.
According to the plan he lays out in the book, you can expect to lose 20 pounds in your first month without exercise. I plan to exercise throughout the next month, so it will be interesting to see what kind of results I get.

If you’ve been wanting to do some search engine optimization on some keywords that you don’t necessarily want to have show up on the main page of your blog, or if you want to create pages on your blog that you don’t want listed in your page menu, you may want to check out the plugins that I share in today’s video.
Being able to hide your pages is great if you have created lead capture pages you are using for pay per click advertising.
